PhotoGate is a lightweight pre-intake layer for home-service businesses. It checks required shots for basic image quality now, then a future semantic layer can verify that the customer actually photographed the right equipment, angle, label, or work area.
This prototype performs local image-quality checks only: resolution, brightness and blur risk. It does not diagnose equipment or certify code/safety conditions.
Customers often send one blurry close-up when the contractor needed a model plate, wide context, access path and problem area. The goal is to catch that before staff starts texting back and forth.
I’m testing whether contractors would pay for a branded intake link that rejects unusable photos before they reach the office. A pilot would be configured around one specific service and your exact required shots. The semantic AI-validation layer is the next build only if contractors confirm the pain is worth solving.
